Where you stay
You will stay in our house in Worthing, which is in the south of England, in the county of West Sussex. You will have a room of your own in our house, which is close to the beach, and the town centre amenities.
Worthing, West Sussex
Worthing is a town of about 100,000 inhabitants, and we are lucky to live so close to the both the beach and the South Downs National Park. The town itself is well known for its pier, but also a lovely old cinema and a number of theatres and other venues. There is a good variety of pubs, bars, shops, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance from us.
The South Downs National Park is great for longer walks in the country, and can be reached by bus, or bike. The city of Brighton & Hove is 20 minutes on the train, or 40 minutes by bus. This is a tourist hotspot, and is great for its pubs, and clubs, and nightlife, as well as for the arts and other seaside attractions.
London can be reached in less than 90 minutes by train.
Our house
We live in a lovely old town house just behind the beachfront in central Worthing. It dates from about the year 1820 and has 2 spare bedrooms for students to use, one with a single bed and one with a double bed. At the back there is a small courtyard garden which is a sun-trap in the summer. At the front, a few steps away is the seafront.
